Originally from Carbonear and a proud bayman, Andrew loves creating a workplace where people can be proud of what they do, grow professionally, and finish each day with a sense of accomplishment and purpose. Outside of work, he’s happiest enjoying the outdoors and breathing in some fresh air. He’s also been known to pick up a guitar — or even an accordion — from time to time. Andrew is a steak-and-eggs fan, a coffee-drinking morning person, and loves spring when the days finally start getting longer. His walk-in song would be Blow at High Dough by The Tragically Hip, and if he could choose one superpower, it would be the ability to fly. His favourite quote, and a philosophy he tries to live by, is simple: “Treat others how you would like to be treated.”

Originally from Victoria, Newfoundland, Dionne says one of the best parts of her job is seeing the smile on a patient’s face when they get relief after treatment. Outside the clinic, she loves hiking, biking and walking her dog — and she’s always interested in travelling somewhere new and experiencing different cultures. Dionne loves summer, creamy soups and a good coffee, although she’ll happily have a cup of tea too. She refuses to classify herself as either a morning person or a night owl because, quite simply, she loves her sleep! Her walk-in song is Girls Just Want to Have Fun by Cyndi Lauper, and if she could have one superpower, she’d choose time travel.

Originally from Arnold’s Cove, John loves helping patients feel better and get back to doing the things they enjoy. When he’s not at the clinic, he enjoys travelling and exploring new places, with a goal of someday visiting every continent. John is a pizza fan, coffee drinker and definite night owl who’s always up for learning something new. If he could choose a superpower, teleportation would make all that travelling a whole lot easier. And if John ever needed a walk-in song, Welcome to the Jungle by Guns N’ Roses gets the nod.

Originally from Iran, Maryam has called Canada home for many years. She loves helping people feel better, move more comfortably and improve their quality of life. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, travelling, discovering new cultures, and sharing good food and conversation. Persian food — especially homemade — is a favourite, along with a good cup of Persian tea. She loves fall, is definitely a morning person, and has plenty more of the world on her travel list. Her walk-in song is Don’t Stop Me Now by Queen, and fittingly, if she could choose a superpower, it would be the ability to instantly heal people.

Originally from Newtown in New-Wes-Valley, Jenna says one of the most rewarding parts of her job is being able to give patients relief and put a smile on their face. Outside of work, family time is a priority, and she also loves to cook — preferably something involving pasta! Jenna is definitely a morning person, loves summer and rarely turns down a coffee. Seeing as much of the world as possible is high on her bucket list. If she could have any superpower, she’d use it to give everyone good health and happiness. Her favourite quote, “This too shall pass,” is a good reflection of her positive outlook.

Originally from Mount Pearl, Vanessa loves the people she gets to work with every day and says the team feels more like a work family. Just as important are the patients, who she describes as some of the most beautiful people you could meet. Outside of work, Vanessa loves spending time with her two daughters, running and working out. She’s a fall-loving, coffee-drinking morning person who loves to laugh and learn new things. Greece is at the top of her travel bucket list, and if she could have one superpower, it would be the ability to freeze time. Her walk-in song? Girl on Fire by Alicia Keys — which probably tells you a little about Vanessa!

Born and raised in St. John’s, Luci loves meeting new people and hearing the stories patients share during their visits. When she’s not at work, she enjoys spending time with the people she loves or heading out for a hike and a good old-fashioned boil-up. French onion soup — with as much cheese as possible — is high on her list of favourites. Luci also loves to sing, so don’t be surprised if you hear her singing while she works! She’s a summer-loving, tea-drinking night owl with a cross-Canada road trip on her bucket list. Her walk-in song is Don’t Stop Me Now by Queen, and teleportation would be her superpower of choice.

Originally from Fogo Island, Emma has a genuine fascination with how people move. She finds the gait cycle and each person’s unique biomechanics incredibly interesting and loves that her job gives her the chance to meet and interact with new people every day. Outside of work, Emma loves to read and is a huge Formula 1 fan. She’s also a fan of fall, coffee and a classic Newfoundland cold plate, with travelling the world firmly on her bucket list. Her walk-in song would be Long Cool Woman by The Hollies, and with teleportation as her superpower of choice, she could knock off that travel bucket list pretty quickly.

Originally from Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Jessica’s favourite part of her job is getting to know and connect with our patients. Outside of work, she enjoys swimming and has plans to someday grow her own garden. She claims she’s “unfun” because she can’t even whistle — although we’re not convinced. Jessica is a fall-loving, coffee-drinking morning person who admits that if she could have any superpower, she’d choose invisibility… mostly because she’s a little nosy!

Originally from Miramichi, New Brunswick, Hailey loves working alongside the clinic team and helping patients “move better, feel better and live better — one step at a time.” Outside of work, you’ll often find her with her nose in a book, spending time with her partner and their dachshund, Maverick, figure skating at the rink, or exploring our beautiful coastline. She has a serious sweet tooth, loves swimming and paddling during the summer, and proudly considers herself a green-tea girlie. A night owl and a Pisces, Hailey hopes to write a book someday. And if she could have any superpower? Teleportation.
